We are pleased to announce that in8 will be holding an “in8 Cards mini-conference” in the city of Bath on the weekend of the 13th and 14th September 2014.
Since the launch of the in8 Cards well-being resource pack last year (click here for more information), people from many different walks of life have found innovative ways to use in8 Cards to help get people talking about what really matters.
In the past year in8 Cards have been used by teachers, support workers, counsellors, carers, mentors, life-coaches, therapists, trainers, mental health charities, lawyers, parents, people working with survivors of domestic abuse and individuals who simply want to improve their relationships and their innate sense of well-being.
We manned a small stand in the foyer of the recent 2014 human givens conference and were delighted that over one quarter of the delegates attending chose to buy a set of cards. The cards were designed to represent one of the fundamental organising ideas that underpin the human givens approach, so we naturally expected delegates to appreciate the potential benefits of using the in8 Cards to improve emotional health and well-being. But over the past year we have also noticed that many people with no background in the human givens approach have also shown real interest in using and spreading these ideas.
The support for this resource pack continues to grow and Bindi and I are really looking forward to sharing experiences, ideas, tips and techniques with as many of you who can be there in September.
